With more than 30 years of hands-on experience, we understand that specialized equipment must be selected around the people using it, the conditions they face and the work they are expected to perform. Our consulting services cover material and product evaluation, functional design, equipment selection, custom development, procurement and logistical coordination.
Extreme-Environment Clothing and Equipment
For high-heat operations, we source and develop lightweight, breathable, antistatic, flame-resistant, and soil-repellent clothing designed to improve protection without unnecessarily restricting movement or comfort.
For cold, wet, and high-risk environments, we provide waterproof and insulated clothing, flotation equipment, high-visibility garments, protective accessories and complete extreme-weather systems. Every recommendation is based on the operating environment, applicable safety requirements and the practical needs of the people working in it.

Aquaculture
For more than a decade, TACDEV has designed and supplied protective clothing and equipment for inshore and offshore aquaculture operations. Our work has included flotation equipment, protective shell garments, safety harnesses, insulated clothing and integrated gear systems developed for cold, wet and physically demanding marine environments.
Aquaculture organizations we have supported include Mowi, Cermaq, California Aqua-Farming Initiative, Marine Harvest, Avanti Feeds Limited and Pacific Seafood.
Military and Government
Our military and government work dates to 2003 and includes the development and supply of specialized uniforms, clothing and equipment for U.S. and NATO personnel operating in demanding environments.
Capabilities have included flame-resistant and waterproof textile systems, soil-repellent treatments, armor-compatible garment designs, mission-specific pocket configurations, protective eyewear, gloves, base layers and custom loadout and transport cases.
