For more than 30 years, TACDEV has provided specialized consulting, procurement, and outfitting services for commercial, industrial, government, defense, entertainment and remote field operations.

Founded and led by Ray Miller, TACDEV combines decades of hands-on outfitting and logistical experience with an established global network of manufacturers, distributors and specialized fabricators. These relationships allow us to source field-proven clothing and equipment, develop custom products and assemble complete gear systems tailored to each client’s requirements.

Every project begins with a clear understanding of the mission. We evaluate the operating environment, potential hazards, technical specifications, safety requirements, logistical constraints and budget before recommending a solution. From extreme heat and sub-zero cold to maritime, mountainous and remote environments, every component is selected to perform as part of a complete, dependable system.

Our role extends beyond supplying equipment. We manage product research, sourcing, customization, procurement and logistical coordination – giving clients a single, experienced resource from initial planning through final delivery.
